How To Change The Background Color On Google Slides
The simplest and most popular way to change the background of a Google Slides presentation is to change the color. Changing the color is very quick and easy to do and it can drastically brighten up your presentation.
To change the color of your presentation, first, make sure nothing else is selected. Otherwise, you will end up changing the color of the object you’ve selected instead of the background. Once you’ve made sure nothing else is selected, click on “Background” and you will now see all the options for customizing the background of a Google Slide.
Next click on the dropdown menu next to the word “Color“.
Now you will be able to choose from any color you like.
If you want to use one of the preset colors, all you have to do is click on the one you want. But if you want to create a custom color, click on the plus icon in the bottom right-hand corner.
You will then be able to drag the sliders to choose the exact color you want. Once you’re happy with it, click “ok“.
Then just click on “Done“, and your color will be set!
How To Add A Gradient Background To Google Slides
If you want your presentation to look even more impressive, you could try using a color gradient. To set a gradient, click on “Background“.
Then click on the drop-down menu next to the word “color“.
Now in the box that appears, click on “Gradient” in the top right-hand corner.
Now if you want to choose a preset gradient, just click on one and you’re good to go. But if you want to create a custom gradient, click one the plus icon.
Then customize it to be the way you want, and click “Ok” when you’re happy with it.
Then click “Done” and you’re all done.
Depending on the gradient you chose, you might want to change the color of some of your text to make it easier to read.
How To Set An Image As A Background In Google Slides
If you want to take your presentation a step further, you could add an image background. To add an image background to your presentation, make sure nothing else on the slide is selected, and then click on “Background“.
Then, in the box that pops up, click on “Choose Image“.
Then, click on “Browse” and choose the image you want to use.
Once you’ve selected your image, it will upload to Google Slides and become the background of your presentation. Now all you need to do is click “Done“, and you’re all done.
You may want to change the color of your text to make it easier to read. Depending on the image you chose, you might even want to add a background to your text. To do that, click on the textbox so that it’s selected, and then click on the paint bucket icon near the top left corner of the screen.
Then, just click on the color you want to use, and you’re good to go!
