How To Change The Wallpaper On A Chromebook
If you just want to change your Chromebook’s wallpaper to one of the default wallpapers that are included with Chrome OS, all you have to do is right click (two finger click on a trackpad) anywhere on the desktop and click “Set wallpaper” in the menu that appears.
Now, you can choose from a whole lot of different wallpapers in a whole lot of different categories. Once you find one that you like, all you have to do is click on it to select it.
And then, after a few seconds of loading, your Chromebook’s wallpaper will be set to the one you chose.
Or, if you’d prefer to have your wallpaper change every day so that you’re not always looking at the same picture, you can enable “Daily Refresh” which will rotate all the wallpapers in a certain category.
To enable “Daily Refresh”, all you have to do is click on the category you want (eg: Landscapes), and then click on the switch next to “Daily Refresh” to turn it on.
And now, your wallpaper will be changed to a different landscape (or whichever category you chose) every day.
How To Set Your Own Wallpaper On A Chromebook
If you want to set your own image as the wallpaper on your Chromebook, all you need to do is go into the files app and find the image you want to use and then right click on it (two finger click on a trackpad) and then click “Set as wallpaper” in the menu that appears.
And that’s it! Now, if you close the files app, you’ll notice the image you chose is now your wallpaper! Yay!
