How To Convert A PDF To A JPG
To convert a PDF into a jpg, we’re going to be using the really cool, free, file converter website online-convert.com. So head over to image.online-convert.com/convert-to-jpg, and now you’ll need to upload your PDF.
To upload your PDF, you can just drag and drop it into the green box on the screen if you like. Or, if you prefer, you can click the “Choose File” button, and a files window will pop up and allow you to choose the PDF you want to upload.
But regardless of how you chose to upload your file, your PDF will now begin to upload to the file converter website, and you’ll see the upload progress near the bottom of the screen.
This shouldn’t take long, and once it’s done, you’re just about ready to click the “START” button to begin converting your file.
BUT! Before you do click start, if you scroll down a bit, you’ll see there are a few settings you might want to change.
If you want, before you begin the conversion, you can tweak all kinds of things like the quality, size, DPI, crop it, upscale it, and do all kinds of things like that. But really, if you just want to turn your PDF into a JPG and have it look exactly the same, you can just ignore all these settings.
But, regardless of whether or not you decided to tweak any settings, once you’re ready, you can go ahead and click the “START” button to begin converting your PDF into a JPG.
Now, you will see a page that says “Processing” for a few seconds while it converts your PDF into a JPG…
But then, once it’s done, you’ll see another page that says “Success – We Converted Your File”.
Now, if your PDF was only one page long, which it probably is if you’re converting it to a JPG, your new JPG will automatically begin downloading to your computer.
But, if your PDF was multiple pages long, each page of the PDF will be converted into it’s own JPG, and you’ll see a list of all the different JPGs.
So if you just want to download page one of the PDF as a JPG, you can click on the “Download” button next to the file called “Original PDF Name_00001.jpg”.
And then, page one of your PDF will download to your computer as a JPG.
Or, if you wanted to download page two of the PDF as a JPG, you would just need to click the “Download” button next to “Original PDF Name_00002.jpg”, and so on.
But, if you wanted to download all the pages as a JPG, you could click the “Download” button next to each page if you want, and then it would download each JPG separately. Or, if you click on the “Download ZIP File” button at the bottom of the list, that will download a zip file of all the different pages.
If you don’t know how to open a zip file, you can learn how to do that on Windows here, on Chrome OS here, on Android here, on Mac OS here, and on iOS here.
And that’s all there is to it! Now you have your PDF file converted into a JPG! That was easy wasn’t it? And, if you ever want to do this in reverse and convert a JPG into a PDF, I show you how to do that here.
