How To Rotate A PDF
To rotate your PDF, the first thing you’ll need to do is go to https://tools.kamihq.com/merge/, and if you’ve never used anything from Kami before, you’ll need to create an account before you can get started.
You can sign up using your email address if you want to, but it’s a lot quicker and easier if you integrate it with your Google account or Microsoft account.
So I’m going to connect my Google account by clicking “With Google”, but if you’d rather use your email address instead, you can click “With Email” and follow the prompts to complete the process.
If you chose to connect it with your Google Account, you’ll now see a popup where you’ll need to click on the account you want to use.
And then you’ll see a thing like this asking if you want to allow Kami to access your Google Drive and Google Classroom (it doesn’t matter if you don’t use Google classroom, this will still work just fine), and you’ll need to scroll down and click allow.
And that’s it! You’re now ready to start rotating! If you chose to connect a Microsoft account, this process might be slightly different, but it will be basically the same thing.
If you chose to use an email address, there would have been a few extra steps involved, but regardless of how you created your account, you should now be looking at a page like this:
Now, to begin rotating your PDF, you’ll need to upload it here by either dragging it and dropping it into the box on the screen, or clicking inside the box…
And then choosing the PDF in the window that appears.
Then, once your PDF is uploaded, go ahead and click “Next”.
Now, you’ll see each page of your PDF laid out, and all you have to do is click the rotate buttons under each page until you get each page rotated the way you want it to be.
If you simply want to rotate every page 90 degrees, you’ll just need to click the rotate button under each page once. Or you could click each button twice to turn each page upside down.
Or, if you only want to rotate one of the pages of the PDF, you can do that by just clicking the arrows under one of the pages.
But regardless of which way you need to rotate it, once you’re happy with it, click on the “Export” button on the left hand side of the screen.
Then, it will ask you if you want to download it, open it in Kami, or save it to Google Drive. Saving it to Google Drive can be handy if you want it in Google Drive, but if you just want to download the PDF to your computer, leave it set to “Download Files” and click “Continue”
Then, after a few seconds, it will say “All Done”, and you’ll be able to download your rotated PDF by clicking the “Download File” button.
And then your PDF will be downloaded to your computer!
And that’s all there is to it! Now your PDF is rotated exactly the way you want it!
