Have you ever wanted to save a Google Doc as a PDF so that you can have your document saved to your computer in PDF format? Well, as it turns out, that’s actually very easy to do, and in this article, I’m going to show you how it’s done.

How To Save Your Google Doc As A PDF
To save your Google Doc as a PDF, all you need to do is click “File” in the top left hand corner…
And then, in the menu that appears, hover over “Download”…
And finally, in the smaller menu that appears next to that, click “PDF Document”.
Now, your Google doc will begin downloading to your computer as a PDF! And you should see the download progress somewhere on the screen.
(It might be in a different location depending on your browser)
Once the download is complete, all you need to do is click on it to open it up…
And then, you’ll see your entire Google Doc in PDF format!
And, if you open the files app on your computer, you should find the PDF in your computer’s downloads folder!
And that’s all there is to it! You’re done! You now have a PDF version of your Google Doc saved to your computer.
How To Upload A PDF To Google Docs
If you want, you can actually do the reverse of this process and turn a PDF into a Google Doc.
This can be really handy if you want to do something like upload a PDF to Google Docs to edit it in Google Docs, and then re-download it as a modified PDF to essentially use Google Docs as a PDF editor.
