Unfortunately, since a service called Google Cloud print was shut down at the end of 2020, some really old printers no longer work with Chrome OS at all, which is certainly a shame.
But as long as your printer isn’t super old (even 5 – 10 years old is probably okay), it should work just fine with your Chromebook.
If you want to make sure it will work, Google has put together a chart to help you find which Chromebooks are compatible with Chrome OS.
If you want to use a wired printer with a USB cable, but your Chromebook doesn’t have a traditional USB port, you’ll just need a USB-C to USB A adapter like this one.
