Google Analytics is a very useful tool for tracking website traffic, but if you ever need to push a Google Analytics property from one Google Analytics Account to a different Google Analytics Account, just continue reading this handy guide.
Step 1.
In the Account that the property is currently in, select the property that you want to move.
Step 2.
Click on the Admin Button in the bottom left corner of the screen.
Step 3.
In the Property Column of the Admin page, click property settings.
Step 4.
On the property setting page, click the “move property” button in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
Step 5.
On the Move Property page, click on “Select a destination” and in the drop-down, select the account that you wish to transfer the property to.
Step 6.
Choose the “replace existing property” option as shown below.
Step 7.
Tick the “confirm changes” checkbox and then click the “start move” button.
The transfer should now begin and should be complete within 3 minutes.
Once complete, the property and all of its data should appear in the account that you moved it to.
